  1. Invite-only soft launch on regsignal.dev

    RegSignal opens to invited design partners on its own domain, with a waitlist, in-app feedback and a public status page.

    • NewInvite-only access: organizations are created from allowlisted email domains or invitations, and everyone else can join the waitlist.
    • NewSend feedback from the beta banner or the user menu in the console, with the page it is about attached.
    • NewPublic status page with live checks of the API, the database and regulator ingestion.
    • NewTerms, privacy policy, DPA, acceptable use, subprocessors, cookie notice and beta program pages, published as drafts pending legal review.
    • ImprovedRegSignal moves to regsignal.dev: security and support addresses, and the SDKs now default to the regsignal.dev API.
    • FixedConsole pages no longer fail to load because of plan-limit metering, normal browsing no longer counts toward request limits, and the Google sign-in button keeps its label on narrow screens.

  2. Published accuracy, duplicates and versions, substances, billing and retention

    A published evaluation report, cleaner feeds with version history, substance-aware impact matching and the foundations for plans and data retention.

    • NewPublished evaluation report: document type accuracy 94%, retrieval hit@3 96.7%, answers cite the expected source in 14 of 15 cases, calibration error 0.061.
    • NewNear-duplicate publications fold into one canonical signal with a version history, summary and key-point diffs, and signal.updated webhooks that carry the changes.
    • NewSubstance identity: CAS, EC, E-number and INCI names are extracted and resolved, sharpen impact matching, and can be added to product profiles, including by CSV or JSON bulk import.
    • NewDeadline calendar with month and agenda views and a signed ICS feed; onboarding now ends on real impacts for your first profile.
    • NewPlan limits, checkout, customer portal, invoices and usage reporting, ready for when paid plans are switched on.
    • SecurityPer-organization retention windows with a dry-run preview and deletion receipts, and Row Level Security on every database table.

  3. Multilingual search, recalls and regulations, structured feeds and connectors

    Search across languages, first-class recalls and regulations, more structured official feeds, and tickets in Jira and ServiceNow.

    • NewMultilingual semantic search across the corpus, on-demand translation of any signal and a language picker in the console.
    • NewRecalls with structured details from openFDA, CPSC, Health Canada and the UK Food Standards Agency.
    • NewRegulations as their own records, linking dockets, CELEX numbers and statutory instruments, with a lifecycle timeline.
    • Improved19 structured official feeds, including WTO ePing, EMA, GOV.UK, Regulations.gov, USDA FSIS, EUR-Lex, Japan e-Gov and Korea’s law.go.kr, replacing fragile page scraping.
    • NewJira Cloud and ServiceNow connectors: create tickets from impacts and tasks, with credentials encrypted and status synced back.
    • SecurityPublic trust page and security.txt, and a SOC 2 programme started (in progress, no report yet).

  4. Production readiness

    Monitoring, hardening and spend controls so the service fails safely and visibly.

    • ImprovedError monitoring across the API, pipeline, MCP server and console, with personal data and credentials scrubbed.
    • SecuritySecurity headers on the API and console, a request size limit on the API and a Content Security Policy in report-only mode.
    • ImprovedA daily AI spend ceiling pauses enrichment and returns 429 with Retry-After instead of degrading silently.
    • ImprovedOperators are alerted when a source fails repeatedly, and receive a daily pipeline summary.
    • ImprovedDatabase changes apply before a release goes live, so a failed release leaves the previous version serving.

  5. The RegSignal platform

    The first release: Signal, Intelligence and Action APIs, a customer console and SDKs.

    • NewSignals feed from 82 official sources across 20 jurisdictions, classified into one vocabulary of verticals, product categories and topics.
    • NewProduct profiles and impact matching, with an impact inbox to triage matches by status, owner and due date.
    • NewAsk: answers over the corpus with citations to the source passage, saved as conversations.
    • NewTasks, approvals and an audit trail of every change; trends and foresight views.
    • NewSigned webhooks with Slack and Microsoft Teams formatting, email digests and a remote MCP server.
    • NewConsole with sign-in, onboarding and roles, plus TypeScript and Python SDKs.
